Cat Training -- Car Rides Car ride training is an important part of our kitten school program since it will play a big role in their adoption experience. First, the kittens get comfortable wearing a soft, light harness indoors. Once they’re familiar with it, they learn that going into the carrier = high-value treats. The next step is putting them in the harness and carrier inside my car. I’m also mindful of the loud sound the garage door makes, as many cats are sensitive to noise. I either open
