But when kids get hands-on play, they’re learning cause and effect, problem solving, and creativity (plus they stay way more engaged!) The mess is usually the part we worry about most… but I would argue we should worry about NOT giving kids these experiences. Setting expectations before you start makes a huge difference. Talking about where materials stay and how cleanup will work gives kids clear boundaries. When

This is a messy play favourite of ours! And when I say messy- this one can get really messy but it’s totally worth it! . (If making large quantities like we did double that amount). . If you want to make different colours divide the batch up before grating coloured chalk into them. To make the chocolate one add

Your baby’s “messy play” actually has good benefits. When toddlers make a mess while playing, they’re stimulating sensory pathways in the brain that support learning and development. They learn about textures, movement, and cause-and-effect. This kind of play strengthens fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, and problem-solving. What looks like a mess to adults is an important part of how children explore, learn, and grow. ❤️ #Babydevelopment #Parentingtips #viralpost2025 #reelsvideoシ #follo

This is essential for kids with sensory sensitivities who may avoid touch or certain textures. 🔹 Fine Motor & Hand Strength: Scooping, squeezing, and swirling the foam work the small

How do you feel about messy play? It’s a love-hate thing for me but when it’s outside, it’s almost always LOVE. There are so many benefits to letting your kid explore their senses through messy play and it’s a nice reminder for me to slow down and embrace their childhood. 💞 This activity is so simple and so fun. My kids absolutely LOVED it. 👉🏼Just cut up some cheap pool noodles (save after to reuse!) 👉🏼 Grab some cheap shaving cream - or whipped cream for a taste-safe alternative for toddle
